- Business Incubation Center (BIC)
The Business Incubation Center (BIC) was established in 2022 by the approval of the syndicate of the Islamia University of Bahawalpur. The primary purpose of establishing the BIC is to promote student entrepreneurship and provide the necessary support to nurture their business ideas and convert them into successful startups. We aim to build a strong entrepreneurship ecosystem within the university and contribute to the economic growth of the region.
The Business Incubation Centre (BIC)at The Islamia University of Bahawalpur is offering venue for the pioneering business ideas of the faculty, students, alumnus and from local education & business community. The Idea of Establishing BIC in IUB was given by Prof. Dr. Jawad Iqbal (Dean FOMS&C / Director IBMAS) and he is also Patron of BIC-IUB. IUB have Established BIC on April 13th 2022 and made the first appointment by hiring Mr. Muhammad Zaid Siddiqui as an Assistant Director BIC (BPS-17). BIC will be proved as tool for entrepreneurship development, which enables establishing new enterprises, creating new jobs, as well as developing new business ideas and technologies. It will provide business assistance to established new business including registration, etc., formulation of business strategies, capacity building of existing businesses, engaging competitors for brand development, supporting venture capitalist, bridging stakeholders in business valuation, market & business insights, governance, counselling and funding opportunities to young entrepreneurs.
